so many people at our event asked me – WHERE did you find this band – they are brilliant!! Kimberly and Aidan – simply unmatched vocal talent – what a great combination!! I almost don’t want to gush TOO much because I don’t want them to be too booked for the next time WE need them!

My wife and I hired The Bluesual Suspects for our wedding on July 2012. We had a few bands to consider during the planning stages, but it was The Bluesual Suspects’ unmatched versatility that led us to choose them – they can play anything from Frank Sinatra to Feist and they do it real well! We had 231 guests at our wedding and our oldest guest (87), youngest (15), and many in between told us they were easily the best wedding band they had ever heard! Reaching across generations like that is not easy, in fact, it takes real skill and as a musican myself, I really appreciated the kind of ability they bring to the table. They can play as a12 piece with a great horn section all eveing, or keep it more low key during dinner and bring out the horn section after dinner. We went with the 12 piece from start to end so they could mix and match better. They managed the sound in the room extremely well, as it was never too loud or too quiet – just the right volume to keep everyone dancing and mingling! Finally, their bandleader, Jeff, was the most professional and pleasant wedding vendor we had to deal with. After dealing with numerous awful elements of the wedding industry, it was such a pleasure dealing with Jeff.
Lastly, wedding bands in general are expensive. We did extensive research and came to that conclusion. However, the Suspects’ price falls in line with every other wedding band we considered, only they were significantly better. So I say, if you’re looking for a band, look no further, these guys will take your event to the next level. Trust me!
